A blend of Sangiovese and a small portion of Syrah, the Morellino di Scansano “Ficaia” produced by Tenuta il Quinto is a lively and balanced red wine that reflects the traditions and culture of the Tuscan Maremma. Aged in stainless steel, it offers a pleasantly fruity and fragrant profile, emphasizing immediacy and drinkability.

Ruby red in color, it reveals aromas of violet, ripe red fruit notes, and subtle spicy hints. On the palate, it is balanced, with well-calibrated tannins and good persistence.

It pairs well with grilled meats and traditional first courses.
