Il Quinto, produced in Tuscany by Tenuta il Quinto, is crafted from a cru of Cabernet Sauvignon planted in 2016 in the highest and most ventilated part of the estate, set on a valuable layer of galestro (a type of schist-based soil). To this, a small portion of Petit Verdot is added, resulting in a wine that marries complexity with aromatic balance, reflecting the viticultural potential of the Maremma region.

The Cabernet Sauvignon contributes depth and structure, while the Petit Verdot adds finesse and vibrant intensity, enriching the wine’s character. The unique combination of high-altitude vineyards, cooling breezes, and galestro soils helps produce a wine that showcases both elegance and power, with a strong sense of terroir.

Il Quinto reveals aromas of dark berries, subtle spices, and floral undertones. On the palate, it is both full-bodied and refined, with well-integrated tannins and a long, harmonious finish, making it a perfect expression of the Maremma’s growing reputation for producing distinctive and high-quality wines.
