MONSANTO CHIANTI CLASSICO IL POGGIO 2019 (750ml)

It originates from the “Il Poggio” vineyard (5.5 hectares, at 310 meters above sea level), from which it took its name in 1962: it is the first Chianti Classico Cru. Composed of 90% Sangiovese, 7% Canaiolo, and 3% Colorino, it ages for 20 months in French oak barrels. Today, it represents the most prestigious product of the winery, appreciated worldwide. It is produced only in the best vintages. The winery, by choice, keeps a significant quantity of bottles in its cellar as a permanent archive to tell the story of Castello di Monsanto.
