PALARI FARO 2018 (750ml)

Faro from the Palari winery is a Sicilian red wine of great elegance and finesse, known for its intensity and complexity. It is one of the island’s most noteworthy wines, produced at the far eastern tip of Sicily, overlooking the Strait of Messina. It has been awarded the prestigious 3 Bicchieri by Gambero Rosso 12 times.

This is the wine of Scylla and Charybdis, made from the classic local grapes—Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Nocera, and small percentages of other native varieties. The extended aging in barriques allows the wine to evolve and develop refined aromatic nuances, making it particularly captivating. The bouquet is of great finesse, followed by a deep, long-lasting sip, rich with countless aromatic nuances.

Aroma: Broad with warm fruity notes of black cherry and strawberry jam, along with hints of cocoa and vanilla
Taste: Soft and velvety, with a good tannic structure. Long and persistent.
