SETTE ROSATO 2023 (750ml)

The Rosato di Sette is a wine made from 15-year-old vines, vinified with a few days of skin maceration, fermented and aged on its own lees in a small steel tank left outside the cellar. It features the color, structure, and savory notes typical of the Monferrato region.

Sette is a splendid vineyard in Nizza Monferrato, with 5.5ha of vines aged between 20 and 75 years. Purchased in 2017 by friends Gianluca and Gino, they set about converting the property to organic farming immediately. They have committed to planting more than forty old tree varieties of local fruit and tall trees per year.

Their rosato is wonderfully lifted and pretty on the nose. A story of red fruits and fresh herbs. Drink cool, but not cold, with a generous spread of antipasti on the last of the warm nights.
