VALLE REALE TREBBIANO D’ABRUZZO 2019 (750ml)

It was the ancient vineyard grown by the monks of the Monastery of San Frances- co, close to the medieval village of Capestrano. Observing this vineyard while pointing in the direction of l’aquila, you realise it’s the ridge which first receives the shade in the tirino valley. For this reason, the monks had to create two twin sundials to be able to measure the time while they were preparing the wine. The vines grow on a thin soil, whose fruits convey a rare minerality, healthiness and freshness. These vineyards mark the ancient vocation for wine of our terroirs and, with their grapes, accurately selected and har- vested by hand, an extraordinary Trebbiano d’Abruzzo is produced. This trebbiano d’Abruzzo, made With natural and spontaneous fermentation, retraces the ancient vinification techniques used by the monks.
