VIBERTI BRICCO AIROLI BARBERA D’ALBA DOC SUPERIORE 2019 (750ML)

It is a wine produced from a selection of two Barbera vineyards. The first vineyard, located in the Bricco delle Viole cru, dates back to 1950, while the second, slightly younger, was planted in 1955. Vinified like a Barolo, with longer submerged cap fermentations compared to its younger sister Gemella, it is aged for 30 months in the same Tine used for Barolo before being bottled. It has a nose of black cherry and cherry, with great finesse and elegance on the palate. It is long in the mouth with remarkable persistence. This wine is considered “Barolo-like” in style, but above all, thanks to its terroir of origin. Its highest expression is achieved in warmer vintages.
