ALOIS LAGEDER COR ROMIGBERG CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2013 (750ml)

Stimulated by his frequent exchanges with winemakers from all over the world – including the legendary Robert Mondavi, pioneer of American viticulture, and various owners of Castelli in Bordeaux – in the 1980s Alois Lageder decided to introduce in this plot, originally cultivated in Schiava, the Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot vines. It is here, in fact, that in 1986 the first large dense Guyot plantation in South Tyrol was built, which caused much discussion. And it is precisely this particle – which has always been called “Herz” (in Italian = heart, in Latin = cor) – which gives its name to the wine produced there.
