LUNGAROTTI RUBESCO VIGNA MONTICCHIO TORGIANO ROSSO RISERVA DOCG 2018 (750ml)

Extraordinary Italian red, Lungarotti’s Rubesco Vigna Monticchio can boast the DOCG since 1990 with retroactive recognition starting from the 1983 harvest. A great classic that in recent years has presented itself with new vigor, always speaking the elegant language of balance and harmony that gives always distinguish it. A red whose vinification takes place in steel and subsequent maturation in barrels of different sizes for about a year. This is followed by a period of bottle refinement of approximately 4 years. Elegant and long-lived, it is a wine whose name is a fantasy trademark, deriving from the Latin verb rubescene, to blush: therefore a joyful meaning. On the label there is a bas-relief depicting the grape harvest, a detail of the Fontana Maggiore in Perugia, the most beautiful square fountain of the 13th century.
